When Superman found out that his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor, had stolen the Kryptonite that could destroy him, he went straight after the villain. When he finally confronted Luthor, Superman put all his strength into lifting the heavy chunk of rock and managed to hurl it straight at him. But, as soon as the Kryptonite hit the villain, nothing happened. Luthor stood there like a statue with a big grin on his face.
